Job OpportunityHouse / Strike Team Supervisor

e-House / Strike Team Supervisor will coordinate activities of nursing resources to maintain continuity of patient care. Will also act as a strategic thought-partner and participative manager, by planning, organizing and completing the opening activities and functions of Tandem hospitals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for all facilities.

  • Demonstrates the ability to manage care within the established standards of nursing care and practice as defined by hospital policies the nursing profession
  • Conducts all activities respecting patient, family, and employee rights and expectations, realizing that primary patient needs take precedence
  • Adheres to all established facility/departmental policies and procedures
  • Attends and participates in all applicable facility meetings, training and development workshops
  • Acts as administrative representative for the organization
  • Exercises critical thinking in problem solving and presents ideas and solutions clearly and concisely for actual and potential situations
  • Interacts with the healthcare team, building relationships and establishing trust and rapport, to plan and deliver quality patient care.
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of local resources for improved patient care and discharge planning
  • Collaborates with physician and clinical staff, demonstrating appropriate admission, discharge and transfer procedures to move patients into observation or inpatient status from the ER
  • Leads service recovery efforts as needed for issues that arise at hospitals
  • Will provide leadership, direction, organization and daily management in the completion of the activities of a national multidisciplinary team
  • Will work with tele-medicine physicians during transitions of care
  • Will oversee or assist with the opening of THP facilities across the country, including but not limited to stocking, training, testing, and stabilization
  • Will ensure all hospitals are open on time and within budget
  • Will build effective partnerships and promote collaborative relationships between departments in THP
  • Will be accountable for communication, implementation, enforcement, monitoring and oversight of compliance policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations


Minimum Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse, in good standing, Compact licensed in the state of Texas with the ability to obtain a license in Indiana, Kansas and Oklahoma.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital Emergency Department, with 3+ years preferred
  • 1 or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC required
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record and Electronic Medication Dispensing Unit (e.g. Pyxis)
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Commitment to the highest ideals of the nursing profession in caring for patients
  • Collaborative teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary group focused on patient care
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge

    • Ability to work with multiple forms to technology on a consistent basis

Travel Required

Will require up to 50% travel to new hospital sites in various markets across the United States.


Shift(s) Available

FULLTIME -      Day Shift (7a-7p)

            Night Shift (7p-7a)
