Job Opportunity – Field Marketing Manager


Manages overall regional marketing strategy for THP’s (Tandem Hospital Partners) corporate brand as well as THP’s hospitals in collaboration with our hospital partner and agency partner(s) for assigned markets. This role includes developing community outreach, community events, social media buzz, advertising, public relations, physician/employer referral program, and marketing campaigns to drive patient acquisition and retention.


Essential Functions

  • Upholds the values and mission of the Tandem Hospital Partners family
  • Managing social media accounts to maintain local presence
  • Collaborate with hospital partner’s marketing team to write posts, create content, monitor healthcare trends and market opinions and view.
  • Ensure strong brand presence in online and offline channels
  • Reputation management
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  • Build and maintain relations to facilitate collaboration for sponsoring, hosting, and participating in educational and promotional outreach events to establish our brand in the Indianapolis market.
  • Plan, organize and execute and attend marketing engagements such as the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, VIP Grand Opening, and Community Grand opening events.
  • Attend trade shows and community events to market the hospital.
  • Assist in creating traditional and digital marketing campaigns and programs that drive brand and service awareness, loyalty, and patient retention.
  • Create and facilitate monthly programs such as Lunch and Learns, Health Screenings, and speaker opportunities.
  • Monitor and measure the success of ongoing campaigns, events, and programs.
  • Develop partnerships to create outreach programs and physician/employer referral opportunities.
  • Assist with developing and leading the Physician/Employer program
  • Identify key stakeholders to generate leads and drive revenue utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Physician Relationship Management (PRM) software.
  • Educate physician groups/top employers on St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital’s model and services.
  • Perform onsite visits to physician offices, top employers and local businesses to act as a key resource and promote and educate them regarding St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital.
  • Manage marketing vendor contracts and local marketing budgets as needed.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition and new opportunities.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or business related field
  • 5 – 10 years of experience as a field marketing manager, marketing coordinator, brand manager, events coordinator, PR specialist, sales representative or similar role. 


Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Strong event planning and project management skills
  • Well-organized with a customer oriented approach
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, applications and techniques
  • Experience with distribution channels and media marketing campaigns
