    Responsibilities

     

    JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

    • Participate in validation, testing and development of operational dashboards
    • Maintain and present technical issues log
    • Participate in gathering user requirements and study granular workflows associated with operational systems.
    • Collaborate and interact with senior leadership, managers, cross-functional teams, and other interns
    • Drive several team-based projects and complete individual stretch assignments

     

     

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • The ideal candidate for the position will be currently enrolled in a four year college degree program with a Bachelor’s degree in either Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
    • Internship during the school year: part-time (approximately 20-25 hours per week) based on your class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During the summer and school breaks, the position can be extended to up to 40 hours per week if so desired by student
    • Must be analytical and detail oriented with an interest in data analysis
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
    • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to handle issues with confidentiality and professionalism
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to make presentations to senior management
    • Initiative to take on new challenges
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Creative thinking skills with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
    • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
    • Junior or Senior standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5

    PROGRAM DURATION, LOCATION, & SCHEDULE:

    We are hiring this Intern for Spring & Summer 2018. Specific hours per day will be discussed individually with each candidate. School credit available if applicable. Location: Tandem Hospital Partners Houston, Texas headquarters at 1415 Louisiana, Suite 2700, Houston, Texas 77002. Complimentary covered parking. Hourly paid internship rate $12.50/hour.
