    Job OpportunityDirector , Quality Management

    The Director of Quality Management has the responsibility of managing the Quality & Risk Program in the Kansas region.  This quality leader assists in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Quality Management program that meets the identified needs of patients, people and partners. The Quality Management program will be developed according to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation (CoPs) regulations, Kansas State Regulations and Det Norske Veritas- Germanischer Lloyd (DNV-GL), accreditation agency and other evidence-based and/or professional organization recommendations.  The program will be evaluated in a continuous manner to ensure compliance with quality indicators outlined by professional standards and payor requirements.  Additional responsibilities will include the planning and implementation of policy development, regulatory survey preparation and coordination, staff education and development for quality.  The individual should be willing to be cross-trained in infection prevention and Risk Management with collaboration with the Home Office. Willing to cross-train others as necessary to other responsibilities within Clinical Operations Team, including nursing, regulatory, patient experience and different quality and patient safety initiatives to benefit patient and organizational outcomes. 


    Essential Functions

    • Upholds the values and mission of the Tandem Hospital Partners family
    • Planning, assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating Quality Management Program
    • Identifying opportunities for improvement as needed in processes for continually improving patient and organizational outcomes
    • Expertise in Data/information management, protection, presentation and benchmarking
    • Support quality resources as entity expert and partner
    • Coaching staff on process improvement opportunities related to Quality Management
    • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
    • Aggregating data related to Quality indicators
    • Reporting data as appropriate within the organization as scheduled and required
    • Serving as a resource to staff on matters related to Quality Management
    • Identifying facility needs as necessary to maintain a safe, effective environment for staff and patients
    • Other duties to benefit the organization as assigned


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Health-care related degree preferred, Master’s degree in healthcare field desirable
    • At least five years of experience in the healthcare environment
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory program management, DNV experience not required
    • CPHQ, Black Belt or other advanced healthcare certification desirable
