Recruiters are responsible for hiring strong candidates into a variety of positions in both traditional healthcare related and office environments

     

    The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of strategic recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.  The Human Resources Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. The ideal candidate will partner with hiring managers and leaders to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the company and to deliver best talent. The position will nurture relationships with prospective applicants and manage on-going manager relationships all while having FUN doing it!     Responsibilities

    Essential Functions

    • Upholds the values and mission of the Tandem Hospital Partners family
    • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs and to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
    • Builds applicant sources by leveraging online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify, attract and recruit top tier talent.
    • Identify and deploy creative methodologies for sourcing quality candidates including: community services, colleges, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
    • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups and job sites
    • Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and business need, interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references
    • Pre-qualify candidate and develop interview slates
    • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; preparing candidate information packages, including position profiles, resumes for distribution to hiring managers/interviewers prior to interviews
    • Arranges candidate travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews
    • Organize, lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and manage logistics
    • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks
    • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager’s interactions and other recruiting activities. Update ATS appropriately for search tracking and reporting purposes
    • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
    • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2-year degree from a recognized college or university, 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to leadership
    • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred
    • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience
    • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes
    • Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources
    • Strong vendor manager skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards
    • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
    • Experience in general HR functions is preferred
    • Experience with various HRIS systems; preferred iCIMS and Ultimate Software a plus

    • Knowledge and ability of needs, goals, deliverables and interdependencies of other functional departments
    • Common understanding of Employment Law

    Travel Required

    Travel will be up to 20% depending upon circumstances
