    Job Opportunity – Dietitian (PRN)

    The Dietitian will conduct nutritional assessments, committing to the delivery of the highest quality holistic patient care, resulting in the best healthcare outcomes and extraordinary patient satisfaction in a highly collaborative team.


    Essential Functions

    • Upholds the values and mission of the Company
    • Sanitation Audits - Conduct periodic review of meal service, kitchen operations, food safety and sanitation
    • Meal Service Audits - Review and approve menus as needed to assure nutrition needs are met
    • Monthly kitchen review to include: expired food products, labeling, proper processes being followed, menu review with food vendor(s)
    • Quality Assurance Program to ensure the dietary department meets all required state and DNV accrediting regulations and guidelines
    • Cost Effective Menu Development with Standardized Recipes
    • Nutritional Analysis of Menus
    • Dietary Department Policy and Procedure Manual
    • Monitor and participate in in-service training in food service and food sanitation in coordination with facility Dietary Manager, corporate staff and as needed for a specific facility needs
    • Provide dietary consultations for patients on an as needed basis (via live in-person consult or via tele-consult)
    • Assist with Kitchen set up and education for new hires, specifically during facility openings


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or other advanced degree in Dietetics;
    • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (the credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
    • Licensed or certified by Kansas state requirements

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • At least two years of health care experience preferred
    • Knowledge of state or CMS regulations a plus
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Customer service experience
    • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team and independently 

    Shift(s) Available

    PRN - Hours as required for inspections and training per state guidelines
